I was entirely unprepared for the crowd and had a terrible vantage point, but nevertheless it stands as my first ever runway shoot.
It was a fun show, and these pictures resulted in my first commercial engagement to shoot a later show, so they’re kind of a milestone.

Check out a Discovery Channel documentary on the process of manufacturing precision lenses. Given the expense of materials and the slow and detailed process, it’s easy to understand why lenses cost so damned much.
