Commercial Precinct at Dusk

13th of April, 2008

Melbourne's Commercial Precinct as viewed from Southbank Promenade.

Landmarks include Flinders Street Station (yellow), 101 Collins (slightly right of centre) and the Yarra Foot Bridge.

This is my first HDR composite created with Photomatix and Photoshop.  EXIF data is taken from the middle exposure.

Very nice. I’ve been thinking about getting a good DSLR. Sigh, some day.

    Cheers ;)

You should do it.  Phtography is therapeutic, unless you’re frustrated by your equipment.  Having said that, the thing I like most about my SLR is the ability to attach lenses.

Awesome shot. Shame about that watermark, you shameless self-promoter ;)

I wouldn’t mind an SLR too, if I could borrow some of your lenses.
