Gaze

This is one of the Dotti models at Federation Square, but it's not a scene directly from the show.

I took this portrait just after she'd finished her run as she was standing watching the rest of the show with another model.  On the catwalk she was acting, but here she stood without pretense and just watched the others strut their stuff.

What grabbed my attention was that she seemed to be the only still one in the crowd.  Her look was so serene, in stark contrast with the loud music and fast pace of the show itself, so I did the unthinkable and took my lens off the action and snapped one of her just being herself.
