Geelong: Gay Premiers 2007
This is one of those 'news' items that really makes you feel better about yourself. Sure, maybe your life is a bit dull, but at least you're not as dumb and unlucky as this guy.

Here's the story from the wire:
A Geelong Cats supporter wanting a permanent reminder of the team's AFL triumph is ruing his decision to get the tattoo done overseas, after the tattooist wrote the team were 'Gay Premiers 2007'.
In a celebratory trip to Thailand, last week, 'Neville' [snip] had 15 cans of beer to ease the pain of the five-and-a-half-hour experience. He paid $150 for the privilege. And to ensure the Phuket tattooist got it right, he wrote down exactly what he wanted on his right and left arms, under the headlines 'right arm' and 'left arm'.
"I gave them a piece of paper and wrote down on the right arm, I wanted the new Geelong emblem they've got out now ... and Day Premiers 2007." [snip]
"And on the left arm side I wrote 'left arm' and the two grandkids names and Night Premiers 2006"
The tattooist took him literally - almost. Now he has "right arm" written on his right arm, just above 'Gay Premiers 2007' because the tattooist marked in 'Gay' instead of 'Day'.
Noise on the 'net seems to side with the tattooist, assuming the spelling mistake was more of a comment on their victory. For those who don't follow the game, Geelong arse-raped Port Adelaide, with a score almost four times theirs. It was the biggest margin in grand final history and left Port Adelaide walking a little strangely.
Am I the only one who feels like Neville should have found someone who speaks English to do his tatts?

Hehe, I’m glad you posted this for safe-keeping. It’s such a hilarious story and one I’ll love linking to when the Cats do something decent next season.
I heard this story on the radio this morning. Pretty damn hilarious; I totally side with the tattooist.
Plus the guy with the tat is going to get years of mileage out of telling his story.
