Tarisai Vushe
I'm glad to see Tarisai leave Australian Idol. She's an evil little bitch and was never suited to the show. From day one she rubbed me the wrong way with her endless god bothering and arrogance, two things which are so annoying it's fortunate that they don't traditionally go together.

When the judges let her through the auditions, she was all "praise god" this, and "thank the lord almighty" that, even at one point claiming that she always knew god would let her show her talent. Thanking the judges only came after one of them (Kyle) told her to quit with the worship already.
She'll constantly say things like "I really thank God for my amazing voice", and worse, when she was finally bumped from the show one of the judges (Dicko) praised her very highly to which she responded "well said". Not "thank you", but "well said". In fact her drawn out artificially cutsey "Thaaaank yoooouu" is usually reserved as a polite dismissal of others' opinions.

She does have a good voice, but it's mighty unattractive of her to run around informing people how great she is all the time. Also, she's not for pop music in any way. Her 'big' style is better suited to musical theatre. It's easy to imagine her headlining the Lion King or something, but when she sings pop songs her enunciation is horribly pedantic and the quality of her voice is well outside the zone.
The day prior to being dropped from the show, she chose to sing When It All Falls Apart, by The Veronicas. Interesting for Simba to choose a song by two poppy punkettes. At least she didn't pick one of their good ones.
Of course she massacred it. Thank goodness that little freak show is over and we don't have to deal with the "I'm not being fake" fakeness, or her "I'll kill you and eat your liver" stares.

I just dug up an interesting little profile she made for herself in 2004 on a myspace-for-africans kind of site.
Idiot.
Well, I kinda liked her I guess. I wasn’t her biggest fan but when applied properly that voice of hers is really something else.
I think Kyle once said that he’d just prefer if they were able to sing whatever they wanted, instead of being constrained by themes. I think that would have helped Tarisai, but I guess 12 weeks of hearing the same kind of songs from the same kids might get a little tedious.
I still think Marty should have gone before Tarisai though.
Yeah lol… I actually REALLY liked her early in the piece. She has been slowly hacking away at my respect for her, but I think she is an amazing talent who has the potential to go far.
I realise that her “talent” really isn’t in question, rather her personality. As much as I don’t agree with the “fake” comments recently, she certainly hasn’t appealed herself to the Australian audience since she was eliminated from the show.
Anyway…. NATALIE 4 IDOL 2007!!!
