Google Adds ‘Extra Large’ Image Filter

4th of October, 2007

Google Image Search 'extra large' filtering option

Today Google added an 'extra large' option to Google Image Search.  This makes it easier to search for images for your high-resolution desktop, or for use in print.  Teachers will be especially happy to be spared the horror of over-stretched images in homework.  The rest of us should be respecting coprights a little more than we do (myself included).

Personally, I'd like to see a little more granularity in the service.  A field to specify minimum horizontal and vertical dimensions would be outstanding.

    ^ lol

I think this is a great addition to google’s service.

I also appreciate google speeding up the capacity counter in gmail.. apparently it is being upgraded to roughly 9GB =)

Not that I use my current 2.8GB’s, but it still feels cool to have a 9gig email. LOL nothing much has changed with me in your absence, hey!!
